Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Associate and Mid-Level Manufacturing Planners to join our Fabrication teams in Auburn, WA. In this role you will drive the implementation and sustainment of new and existing build plans that directly influence program quality and cost performance. We’re looking for adaptable contributors who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can handle critical deliverables and urgent factory support, and collaborate effectively across disciplines. A creative, “think outside the box” mindset is essential as you work with engineering, production, and suppliers to solve complex manufacturing challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.

Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
-
Manages tools from initial design to end-of-use disposition.
-
Investigates and resolves manufacturing-related issues.
-
Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
-
Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
-
Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
-
1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Familiarity with systems & test commodities and/or manufacturing processes
-
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
-
Ability to provide shipside support to resolve production issues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
-
Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process

3 or more years of aerospace systems and test fabrication and/or installation experience
-
Experience working with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) or an equivalent
-
(Mid-Level) 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $65,450 – $88,550

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $78,200 – $105,800
