As Oracle Recruitment Product Owner, you will translate our Talent Acquisition strategy into a clear product roadmap for Oracle Recruiting Cloud. You’ll partner closely with HR stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to prioritize features, define user stories, and deliver enhancements that drive world-class candidate and recruiter experiences.
You’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Define and maintain the product backlog in Jira for Oracle Recruiting Cloud modules, ensuring alignment to BNY’s Talent Acquisition strategy and our “Be Client Obsessed” principle
- Engage with HR partners, recruiters, and hiring managers to gather requirements, validate priorities, and translate needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews in an Agile environment—owning delivery and tracking feature progress
- Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, and external implementation partners to deliver enhancements, integrations (e.g., with HCM, onboarding platforms), and reporting solutions
- Act as subject-matter expert on ORC capabilities and best practices; drive continuous improvement through system configuration, testing, and change management
- Conduct and lead UAT (user acceptance testing) and end-to-end regression testing for quarterly releases
- Manage troubleshooting for escalated issues, identifying root cause and partnering with engineering as needed for resolution
- Facilitate user training, release communications, and change management to ensure high adoption and a seamless transition to new functionality
- Uphold BNY’s “Own It” mindset by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities; escalate as needed to keep deliverables on track
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to ensure all recruiting processes and configurations meet regulatory and internal control requirements
- Monitor product performance KPIs and leverage data insights to spark progress and inform roadmap adjustments
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 6+ years of experience in a product owner or similar position, including experience owning a product backlog within Jira or similar system
- Knowledge of talent acquisition systems and processes (Oracle, Workday, etc.)
- Proficiency in agile program and project management, with track record of successful implementation of technology projects and enhancements
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills, fostering a supportive and innovative work environment.
- Proficiency in project management and process optimization, ensuring successful implementation of business strategies.
