At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
The Mission Operations Training Team in Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence program is looking for a new member to help with our charter to train Flight Controllers, Astronauts, and other Mission Team members to land and operate the next generation of hardware on the lunar surface. This role will include a wide variety of autonomous projects involving simulation integrated hardware design installation, hardware maintenance and troubleshooting, and support users during human-in-the-loop testing. This role will require interfacing with our NASA customer to help define training facility requirements, and prospective candidates shall exhibit high degree of task flexibility and willingness to learn, as tasks can range from IT, to audio visual systems support, to soldering, to 3D printing, to test engineering, to instructional design, and more. We are a very small team in Houston and take ownership of all aspects of training operations!
