Equal opportunity provider for the successful candidate.FAO coordinates accounting service providers for Black Rock’s AMRS/EMEA portfolios, i Shares, and Bitcoin CIFs, providing strategic product assistance to other Black Rock teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Within FAO, we perform daily and monthly functions using appropriate controls in accordance with accounting and procedural policies. We also partner with custodians, counterparties, accounting providers and various internal departments to resolve operational, valuation and accounting issues. We are a group that enjoys problem solving and working to develop innovative solutions.
- We are looking for a hardworking, self learner, who has a positive work ethic.
- Assist in all functions focusing on the accounting oversight of the funds, i Shares and CIFs.
- Conduct tasks including reconciliation oversight, review of fund performance against benchmarks and oversight of fund expenses.
- Engage all levels of management, participate in product life cycle events, such as fund launches, mergers and liquidations, and tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Have the opportunity for professional development with a career path within the group, or into operating teams or business areas across Black Rock.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree experience preferred.
- 1 to 4 years of work experience in the Fund Industry.
- Regulatory and GAAP knowledge preferred.
- Excellent organization, communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in software packages, with the capability to pick up new systems efficiently.
- Proven record to work in a team oriented environment.
- Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

- Promotes and facilitates the group’s work while chipping in to the group using reassurance and motivation

Our hybrid work model
Black Rock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
