Baker Hughes is looking for offshore personnel for Smart Services for CICM (Drill Pipe Conveyed Cased Hole Ultra Sonic Logging Service), and XACT Acoustic Telemetry Network operations.

Work scope includes Tool handling, Surface System rig-up, Tool programming, Data handling, Log processing and data delivery to client.

As a Field Specialist, you will work under general supervision to develop and apply skills required to run applications of increasing complexity in one product line in the Cased Hole Completions Product Group. Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job. Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Running multiple applications in the Smart Services Product Line in, part of the Wellbore Intervention Product Group.
• Installing equipment following technical documentation and using a variety of tools.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to design and execute best solutions.
• Following internal Health, Safety and Environment policies to ensure safety and compliance.

  To be successful in this role you will:
• Hold a technical qualification.
• Demonstrate industry experience.
• Have a general knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
• Have experience in Wireline logging, MWD/LWD and/or excellent IT skills combined with experience from other DP conveyed technologies will be preferred.
• Have a good mechanical aptitude.
• Thorough mechanical and application proficiency within Cased Hole Wellbore Intervention Services.
• Be able to work well and communicate well with others.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
