As a Software Engineer you will typically work independently but within a team framework, to develop and support products within the Technology groups and to achieve objectives. Work is still performed within defined parameters and skills are improved upon for making work decisions, applying concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolving issues through immediate action or short-term planning. This level requires a greater knowledge and demonstration of competencies to use the tools, materials, products, and processes in the development and support of the technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting the Manager Engineering Software in software development and in the implementation of the software as mechanical engineering design tools.

Duties to include the following but other others may be assigned:

  • Provide end user support for engineering software.

  • Interface with software users to define user interface requirements and create software specifications.

  • Develop user interfaces for engineering software.

  • Writing high quality software in C#/Visual Basic/.Net program coding

  • Ensure that the applicable quality aspects of the software methodology are implemented in accordance with both Company and Industry statutory requirements.

  • Interface with all departments as required presenting a comprehensive technology service

  • All other assigned work

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Software Engineering.

  • Experience in engineering software tool development.

  • Advanced English Level.

  • Availability to work 5 days a week onsite on Ilha do Fundão.
