The DRA Sales & Commercial Leader will be representing Baker Hughes with executive level management of midstream organizations across multiple regions to help progress strategic pipeline drag reducer sales initiatives and foster growth with our key partners.
Responsibilities
As a DRA Sales and Commercial Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans that are aligned with customer's business plan to deliver growth in targeted area
- Ensuring sales campaigns and strategies are consistent with the overall objectives for the company
- Proactively identifying and engaging new potential strategic customers
- Building relationships with key customers at both corporate and regional midstream/pipeline offices
- Performing standard portfolio management practices to understand customer needs, requirements, and potential sales opportunities while managing portfolio P&L
- Mentoring service delivery personnel for assigned customer account(s)
- Applying or leading the application of innovative ideas and technologies to create a business or organizational advantage
- Managing customer contracts to maximize profitability while monitoring and evaluating programs and expenditures
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Have 10+ years' experience in refining, midstream, or upstream chemical sales
- Have 5+ years' experience in pipeline chemical treatment sales
- Have 5+ years' experience with direct P&L management
- Have proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line growth
- Have comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
- Have comprehensive understanding of company products/applications and services
- Have 50% business travel required
- Have excellent business acumen
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's Degree in a Sciences or Engineering field
- 15+ years' experience in refining, midstream, or upstream chemical sales
- 10+ years' experience in pipeline chemical treatment sales
- 10+ years of direct P&L management
- 5+ years of corporate sales experience at the C-suite level
- Commercial negotiations experience with large corporate contracts in the downstream or midstream markets
