Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a **Software QA Manager **to lead quality strategy and execution for the Fusion product within the Data and Process Management Pune team.

This role is responsible for driving quality culture, release readiness, and customer-centric outcomes across multiple Agile teams, operating at a project or program level.

We are looking for a candidatewith deep expertise in test automation, a strong background in cloud-native applications, and proven experience working across leading globally distributed teams. The ideal candidate is self-driven, passionate about quality, and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be responsible for leading the QA efforts, driving automation strategies, and ensuring the overall quality of our software products. This is a hybrid role, and you will report to a Software QA Engineering Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance efforts for cloud-native applications

• Drive automation-first testing culture, enabling faster and reliable software releases

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams (product, development, DevOps, Customer Support) to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Establish and evolve QA processes and best practices to support a high-performing engineering culture

• Own test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting metrics to stakeholders

• Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in automation and quality strategy

• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, AI and technologies and introduce them as appropriate

• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 3 years in lead role

• Strong experience in test automation using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Py Test

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python)

• Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

• Experience testing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Knowledge of AI technologies and tools which can increase testing efficiency

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions

• Exposure to testing in Agile/Scrum environments and global team setups

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
