Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Software Developer to join high‑impact teams building the next generation of AI‑powered Test Automation solutions for Cloud and Desktop application.

We are looking for a strong technical contributor with expertise in automation, cloud services, and AI agent development. As an ideal candidate, you have built scalable applications and test automation frameworks in fast-paced, agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in designing and delivering scalable cloud and desktop applications

• Drive adoption of AI agents, LLMs, and automation frameworks into engineering workflows

• Own business outcomes and ensure engineering excellence across projects

• Recruit, mentor, and inspire high‑performing engineers

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define vision, priorities, and delivery plans

• Champion Agile practices, DevOps, and continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 5-8 years of software development experience

• Strong expertise in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript

• Hands‑on with AWS, One of the Automation framework

• Playwright, Cypress, Pytest

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and strong teamwork

• Self-motivated and proactive in driving quality improvements

• Able to work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes based on general objectives with minimal supervision

AI Technical Skills

• AI Agent Development (Lang Graph or similar frameworks)

• LLM integration & prompt engineering (RAG patterns, context management)

• AI‑driven test automation for UI/API testing

• Python async/await architecture; MCP or similar protocols

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
