Role and responsibilities
The Production Engineersupports manufacturingoperations byassistingin process development, documentation, and quality improvement initiativesto supportboth New Product Introductions (NPI) and volume production.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers eager to contribute to new product introductions and continuous improvement projects in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement- Collect andanalyze SPC datatomonitorprocess stability.

• Support process improvement initiatives for volume products, including cycle time and labor hour reduction.

• Participatein quality and lean projects.

Manufacturing Process &Documentation- Assistindevelopingand updatingmanufacturing procedures, work instructions, and routing documentation.

• Maintainprocess documentationand production sequences.

• Participate in Engineering Change Notice (ECN) reviews and provide factory input.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

New Product Introduction & Design Support- Contributeto new product introduction activities within a concurrent engineering environment.

• Supportin design reviews, PFMEAs, and manufacturability assessments.

• Supportproduction tooling and qualification tests.

Production Support & Troubleshooting- Provide technical supportassisting First Line Support (FLS) for production issues, including troubleshooting modules and driving to root cause resolution

• Evaluate and dispositionparts with quality issues, review failure analysis reports, andvalidateroot causes.

• Provide necessary dataforimplementing corrective actions and RCA investigations.

• Participate in DRB/MRB to drive structural solutions

Equipment & Resource Management- Assistin equipment calibration, upkeep, and procurement for manufacturing instruments.

Collaboration & Communication- Interfacewith internalteamsand external customersregardingassemblyandtesting of components and final products.

• Document results, write procedures, and support qualification plans.

• Work independently or as part of a team to follow through on assignments.

Education and experience- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) required.

• 0-2 years in manufacturing or engineering environment (internship experience preferred).

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality principles.

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiaritywith CAD tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD, NX).

• Knowledgeof manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, automation).

• UnderstandingofSPC, data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,Powerpoint).

• Can work according tosafety standards andqualitycompliance requirements.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for production equipment and processes.

Other information- 25% of time spentin cleanroomassistingtechnicians andoptimizingprocesses.

• 25%of time spent documenting results and writing procedures.

• 25% of time spentcollaborating with Manufacturing Engineering on process recommendations and qualification plans.

• 25%of time spent in meetings with Design Engineering for product design andqualifications.

Additional Responsibilities: There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
