Your Role

Own the global DTS process architecture and ensure all new or enhanced solutions align with it. Maintain solution blueprint and ensure consistency across regions/Plants. Evaluate, design and approve solutions for Aptiv business requirements in SAP DTS. Work closely with business leaders in PP & QM, Logistics and Finance to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions leveraging leading best practice.

Coordination with Partners

  • Provide guidance, clarify requirements and facilitate business decisions
  • Review partner deliverables quality, completeness and alignment with clean core principles
  • Prioritize enhancement requests and vendors focus on business-critical work

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with existing applications in the DTS area including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, to deliver continuous improvement and projects in the Demand to Supply process, DSC for PP/DS, 3rd Party Integrations
  • Apply knowledge of the automotive industry to tailor solutions effectively, ensuring they meet industry standards and requirements
  • Define DTS transformation roadmap – S/4HANA migration, rollout expansion and other solution deployment recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and partners, leading by example and fostering effective communication and teamwork to drive successful business transformations

Your Background

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in analyzing requirements and designing solutions and roadmaps in SAP DTS process covering SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong background in the automotive, high tech or related industries is preferred
  • Experience in Rollouts, Mergers and Acquisitions, Divestiture and Implementation
  • Experience in designing solutions in Automotive specific DTS processes like Repetitive manufacturing, Quality Management, Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling, Variant Configuration, Serial Numbers, Backflush, Scrap Management etc
  • Ability to define business rules for Data migration objects
  • Strong experience in S/4HANA DTS processes like Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Advance Variant Configuration, DSC for PPDS and IBP
  • Experience in MES integration with SAP ERP
  • Understanding of simplification items and migration from ECC to S/4HANA
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to coordinate with other vendors in different phases of the project
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable with questioning established ways of working to bring process and automation improvements and getting agreement to change
