Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure molecular and particulate cleanliness for components used in high-end electron microscopes.
  • Develop, optimize, and qualify advanced wet-chemical and dry-cleaning processes for highly sensitive surfaces.
  • Implement and maintain contamination-control standards and procedures internally and with external suppliers
  • Perform and interpret surface analysis using RGA, XPS, AFM, GCMS, FTIR, SEM/EDX, particle counting, inspection, and related techniques
  • Lead top contamination root-cause analyses and corrective actions with internal teams, suppliers, and cleaning service providers.
  • Conduct cleanliness-focused supplier qualification and audits to ensure compliance across the supply chain.

Your profile:

  • Degree in chemistry, materials science, materials engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in surface analytics and contamination characterization (e.g., RGA, XPS, AFM, GC-MS).
  • Experience with industrial cleaning processes in high-tech environments (UHV/XHV, semiconductor, precision optics, etc.).
  • Experience working with equipment manufacturers and external cleaning service providers.
  • High level of teamwork, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Hands-on mentality with a confident and solution-oriented working style.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English

  • Be a part of highly qualified engineering team, to efficiently manage the manufacturing as well as technical domain of complex modules developed by our R&D team
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure a prompt execution as well as efficient and smooth production
  • Take a lead on driving our suppliers to excellence for enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility near Munich
