Description:

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our team of diverse, creative, and hardworking people. As a member of the Marketing and Communications Legal group, you will be the marketing legal counsel for some of the world's most innovative financial products like Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Pay. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating marketing agreements, and providing legal and regulatory guidance on our industry-leading marketing campaigns. With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support for Apple's marketing teams.

Successful candidates will embrace the challenge of solving complex issues and conflicting interests in creative and efficient ways and will demonstrate an ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration with both legal and business colleagues alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Reg Z, TILA, UDAAP and other laws that apply to the marketing of consumer financial products.

Demonstrated ability in advising a variety of client teams driven by a diverse set of business objectives.

Comfort handling multiple projects on competing timelines.

Demonstrated ability to issue-spot legal risks and provide practical, business-forward solutions.

Superior verbal and written communication and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Passion for building strong relationships with your clients and with the broader Apple Legal Group is a must.

Strong work ethic, sense of humor, and ability to be a great team member.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience.

Experience with marketing and intellectual property law, right of publicity, and consumer protection issues.

Knowledge of marketing laws and compliance requirements applicable to consumer finance.

Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, particularly in the context of financial services.

JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,700 and $301,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
