Our design studio is seeking a paint and color specialist.

Description:

Our small design studio is seeking a senior paint and color specialist to help manage the industrial-grade paint and finishes aspect of our model shop. Successful candidates will have minimum 3 years experience with industrial paints and coatings and possess a meticulous eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years of industrial paint experience in a professional, highly detailed environment

A keen eye with the ability to see subtle nuances and variations between colors

Curious, resourceful, highly organized, and self motivated demeanor

Exemplary work ethic and a "no task is too small" attitude

Background in color science and metrology a strong plus

Minimum Qualifications:

Accurately mix, match, and qualify industrial-grade paints and coatings

Prepare a variety of surfaces for paint application

Apply paint and coatings to models and various surfaces using industrial tools

Lend paint and finishes expertise to internal teams and external vendors

Assist paint specialist in all aspects of paint and color library management

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
