  The Apple Services design team is seeking a product designer to craft elegant experiences for purchasing and managing subscription-based products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing elegant products that improve business performance while always keeping the customer informed and in control.

Description:

The position requires deliverables to be provided under tight deadlines and with input from many senior-level stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as well as coolness under pressure, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to mediate and cope with rapid change. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands Apple's high standards and design aesthetic to the core.

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep knowledge of the UI controls available in Apple UI frameworks, and familiarity with the underlying technology that powers them.

Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive design practices, and accessibility features on Apple operating systems.

Experience working in a design organization at a large, established company with several different products.

An ability to advocate for UI consistency with designers, engineers, product managers, and executives through writing, visuals, and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience designing for all aspects of subscription-based products, including acquisition, payment methods, communication, management, retention, cancellation, and re-engagement.

A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in interaction design, visual design, and problem solving.

A commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, privacy, and trust while supporting business goals.

Outstanding ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, legal, and executive leadership through writing, visuals, and presentations.

Able to work independently and in a team environment.

3+ years of design experience with a focus on Mobile, Web, and macOS interfaces. Experience with Apple TV and Apple Watch is a plus.

Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes, using Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Keynote, and similar tools.

Expertise documenting design details and QA of the implemented product.

Experience in handling several complex projects simultaneously.

Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project.

A passion for Apple, our products, and our customers is a must.

Bachelor's or Master's in Design, or equivalent work experience.

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
