Are you interested to work on the forefront of Battery Management Systems? In this role you will develop future BMS technologies with a hardworking team of engineers in a highly reciprocal and multi-functional environment. The BMS team spans across all battery-based Apple products and is looking for engineers with multi-disciplinary technology experience with strong leadership skills.

The architecture group within the Battery Management System (BMS) organization is a critical and collaborative team that bridges across all cross functional teams to understand product needs to translate them into requirements for the BMS domain teams. The engagement spans across short term objectives for upcoming products as well as collaborating with the entire team to establish and pursue the long term BMS roadmap covering hardware, firmware, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional team to establish BMS goals and requirements
• Enable successful delivery of BMS systems for new Apple products
• Lead the definition of next generation of BMS silicon chipsets
• Guide the BMS domain teams in developing efficient and scalable solutions
• Engage with multi-disciplinary architects to align on next generation objectives and BMS roadmap
• Lead the team to develop an architecture decomposition with justified trade-offs between technology options
• Tackle challenging trade-offs and analyze comparative options with quantitative value proposition assessments
