The Group:
ADI’s Consumer BU enhances human sensory experience by developing innovations that change the way we live, work, and interact. The charter of the portable Consumer business is to lead the market in selected technology domains with highly differentiated sensing, signal processing and power solutions. Today these technology areas include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization, Optical Sensing, Audio and Power which drive major growth in our business. The Position:
The Consumer PMO is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams across several new system-level products developments including multi-die in-package developments for the Hearable and Wearable portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efforts and communications between several geographical distributed teams and customers, monitoring the individual projects through their Development Lifecycles while meeting customer goals. The candidate will also lead regular project reviews with ADI senior leadership and executive teams.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to develop a clear definition for the project that meets customer requirements and internal company goals.
- Co-ordinate with business teams to develop any necessary contractual material such as SOW, Quality requirements etc. in support of the assigned project.
- Work with the project team(s) and functional leadership to ensure the schedule, budget, risk analysis and mitigation plans are aligned with business and project goals.
- Oversee the successful execution of the project, continually evaluating project risks and taking appropriate action to mitigate.
- Manage the bounding box; schedule, scope, budget to ensure individual projects stay on track and within budgetary commitments.
- Coordinate the day-to-day project activities, priorities, meetings and communications ensuring alignment across all project or cross functional teams, while optimizing performance at a project level.
- Serve as the focal point for project communications to ADI and customer executive management. Compile regular progress status for all stakeholders and effectively escalate critical issues and risks as necessary.
- Ensure the project is developed in compliance with specified internal ADI, customer or industry standards, processes and procedures.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring post-release lessons learned activities for the project are completed.
- Serve as a champion for advancing Project Management best practices.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of due diligence is applied to the business justification for the project prior to entering the development phase.
- Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to define the scope, full factory cost and total development cost targets for each project plan.
- Drive execution to meet the scope, cost, and schedule to plan. Ensure that the schedule is maintained and key milestones of tape out, samples and release date are achieved.
- Ensure that each development function (Design, Test, Eval, Marketing etc.) is aware of the key milestone commitments and all critical information and changes relating to the project through team meetings and other communication.
- Manage project level change requests which may fundamentally impact the schedule and cost of the project.
- Track and record in PLE the performance of the project to key milestones.
- Ensure post-release review (AAR) of the project is completed as required.
- Work directly and closely with key customers, scheduling and chairing regular meetings and delivering project updates.
- Travel to customer sites for project review and other meetings as required.
- The Candidate:
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous, prepared to take the initiative and exhibit the following skills:

7+ years’ experience in an Engineering Program Manager role working with large multinational companies.

Degree in Engineering, or equivalent.

Project management certification.

Strong Knowledge of MS Office Tools.

Proficiency in Atlassian tool suite preferred.
-
Strong planning skills are essential.
-
Ability to drive tasks to completion through close coordination with multiple groups.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $157,080 to $227,460.-
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
