The Assistant Manager, Digital Acquisition is responsible for driving online acquisition of high value customers through driving effective digital marketing strategies. The Executive will be responsible in driving customer acquisition, engagement and delivering outstanding digital experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Build online acquisition strategy with partners and agencies with a focus on Paid Media (Meta/IG), Paid Search (PPC), Display (DV360, Zemanta), Affiliates, Organic and Social platforms etc. with the goal of creating effective digital marketing strategies.
- Develop media creatives with our digital agency and implement it according to the media plan.
- Be responsible for optimizing the marketing funnel, from upper to lower funnel to drive online acquisitions, increase cost efficiencies and delivering key measurement metrics for card acquisition and performance targets
- Identify improvement areas in the end-to-end customer journey to drive incremental card applications and new card member accounts
- Independently run marketing campaigns, understand end-to-end processes from digital marketing, digital acquisitions, applications processing, gift fulfillment, customer servicing, digital capabilities, operational risk and compliance requirements to ensure campaign success
- Conduct post-campaign analysis and report for acquisition campaigns to determine the success factors to further improve on future campaigns
- Collaborate with our agencies and partners to drive innovative media via Google and/or Facebook to pilot and test new campaigns to drive incremental acquisition
- Lead biweekly/monthly media agency reviews, drive discussions, implementations, follow ups and provide recommendations and insights for optimization
- Work with key internal and external customers to drive online acquisitions for all American Express propriety products
- Be responsible for managing customer digital experience performance metrics focusing on improving user experiences to drive incremental card applications and new card member accounts which may include supervising changes in card applications / submissions rate
- Ensuring compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements while keeping customer experience as top priority
- Build strong and effective internal cross line of business and external partners’ relationships to ensure strategy alignment and smooth facilitation of project implementation
- Run end-to-end project delivery, project status reporting, risk management and issue escalation, ensuring that projects are delivered timely and within scope
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing or Business-related fields, preferably in consumer or digital marketing
- Analytical, sound business and financial competence, attention to details and comfortable with centralized work processes
- Independent and self-motivated, with a passion to identify opportunities, propose new concepts to drive innovation and changes in acquisition strategies
- Excellent communicator with good relationship management skills and able to effectively manage internal and external partners
- Flexible, open-minded and proactive under constantly evolving environment
- Ability to work both independently and with a cross-functional business unit
- Ability to prioritize, work on multiple simultaneous tasks in a matrix and fast paced environment and under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
- Solid project management and execution experience with growth mindset
- Strong Will to Win and passion for acquisition marketing
- A good grasp on digital marketing and social media strategies
- Understanding of web knowledge such as SEO, SEM, HTML
- Understanding of American Express card products, services and benefits and/or understanding of the Financial Services Industry would be an advantage
