Together, we advance your career. THE ROLE: As a Manager of M&A Integration, you will be part of AMD’s Corporate Development organization, helping shape the future of the company by ensuring newly acquired businesses integrate smoothly and successfully.
You’ll work at the center of AMD’s most strategic growth initiatives, partnering with leaders across our Business Units and Engineering organizations to translate deal objectives into real-world outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to learn the full M&A lifecycle, influence cross-functional decision-making, and help build scalable integration capabilities in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

At AMD, you'll drive integrations across our core Business Units: Artificial Intelligence Group (AIG), Adaptive & Embedded Group (AECG), Data Center Solutions Group (DSG), Computing & Graphics (CG).
And our engineering Teams: Technology & Engineering (T&E), GPU Technologies & Engineering (G&E). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with AMD leaders, deal sponsors, and acquired company executives to guide end‑to‑end integration efforts and ensure alignment with strategic deal objectives.
Support the full M&A integration lifecycle—from due diligence through post‑close execution—by identifying risks, developing integration plans, and tracking progress against key milestones.
Manage workstream activities, ensuring transparency, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
You'll work closely with core cross-functional partners to facilitate smooth integrations, including Human Resources, Communications, Finance, Tax, & Treasury, Legal & Compliance, Information Technology, Procurement, Corporate Marketing, Sales & GTM, Product & Engineering, Customer Engineering & Services, Manufacturing & Operations.
Build and maintain integration tools, including Smartsheet trackers, scorecards, templates, and playbooks, to support consistent reporting and execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining AMD’s integration frameworks and best practices.
Participate in broader corporate development activities such as market analysis, target evaluation, and support for deal structuring and valuation.
Drive strategic thinking and problem-solving across diverse teams to remove roadblocks and ensure successful outcomes.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience: in M&A integration, post‑merger integration, corporate development, consulting, or program/project management within technology, semiconductor, or high‑growth environments.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and build strong working relationships.
Strong program management capabilities, including developing frameworks, deliverables, and process improvements.
Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to or advising senior leadership.
Proficiency with project management tools; Smartsheet experience is highly desired.
Ability to analyze complex information, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Experience: in semiconductor, technology, or financial services industries, particularly in hardware, software, or digital products.
Familiarity with the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, valuation, and synergy realization.
Knowledge of desktop applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Advanced degrees such as MBA or JD are desired. LOCATION: Austin, TX This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
