THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Protection Specialist to provide comprehensive security services for our high-profile technology executives. This role demands exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to deliver world-class protection while maintaining professional relationships across all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will excel at connecting intelligence to operations, building trust with executives, and executing flawless security protocols in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will have experience providing close protection in multiple international regions and advanced skills in countersurveillance and technical security measures. Success requires managing change in a dynamic environment and building trust with stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Protection Services:

  • Deliver tailored protection strategies through intelligence analysis, adjusting from low-profile to close protection.
  • Manage security logistics including transportation details, arrival/departure procedures, and venue coordination.
  • Conduct advanced work for executive movements based on threat assessments.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding executive schedules and personal information.

Intelligence & Risk Management:

  • Analyze intelligence indicators to identify risks and recommend security improvements.
  • Manage protective intelligence for travel using risk profiles and official data.
  • Conduct open-source intelligence investigations and assessments.
  • Provide intelligence reports and briefings for protective operations.
  • Align stakeholder priorities with security protocols.

Operational Management

  • Oversee administrative functions of executive protection program elements.
  • Coordinate third-party security support.
  • Develop and execute executive protection projects.
  • Manage intelligence plans for events and coordinate security support.
  • Implement operational protocols for contracted personnel.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a security advisor at assigned locations.
  • Coordinate security efforts with internal teams.
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement and government entities.
  • Communicate across organizational levels.
  • Balance security requirements with executive needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Maintain physical fitness to effectively perform protection duties during extended hours in dynamic environments
  • Ability to respond quickly to physical threats and emergency situations
  • Capable of sustaining alertness and focus during long shifts and irregular schedules

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic and international travel (25-40% of time)
  • Ability to deploy on short notice for emergency security situations
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by executive schedules and security needs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience providing executive protection to CEOs or senior executives in a Fortune 200 company corporate environment
  • Experience developing and executing executive protection projects end-to-end
  • Demonstrated success managing and coordinating executive protection in high-risk international travel locations
  • Experience managing contractors and vendors in support of executive protection operations
  • Track record of establishing formal training programs for personnel traveling with executives

PREFERRED CREDENTIALS:

  • Training from established Executive Protection schools
  • Advanced Defensive/Security Driving certifications
  • Emergency Medical qualifications (minimum EMT-B or equivalent)
  • Multi-lingual capabilities
