You will play a key role in shaping and supporting the definition and delivery of Embedded Product Roadmaps that incorporate EPYC Embedded and RYZEN Embedded products across a wide range of market segments, including Automotive, Industrial, Networking, and Storage. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for our AI-enabled embedded technologies, helping to drive adoption and growth as AMD continues to strengthen its leadership in Embedded computing.
You will work closely with AMD engineering, Segment Marketing, and Sales teams to help define winning solutions and support their successful introduction to the market. In addition to supporting new product definitions, you will assist with portfolio management activities to help ensure existing products remain well positioned for production and are thoughtfully managed through their planned end of life. This role will contribute to defining product value propositions, positioning, messaging, collateral, pricing inputs, go-to-market activities, sales enablement, customer engagement, and design win support—offering strong exposure across the full product lifecycle.
THE PERSON: AMD is seeking a motivated, high-energy Product Management and Product Marketing Specialist to help support the next generation of Embedded Product solutions (Silicon, Platform, Software) for the Embedded x86 Business Unit. The ideal candidate brings experience or strong interest in product lifecycle management and product marketing, with a desire to grow their impact across product definition, go-to-market planning, and launches.
You are a clear communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally and contributing to team success. You are comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders and are eager to build experience influencing customers and internal partners.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Assist with Embedded Hardware and Software Product Roadmaps, helping ensure products and solutions deliver competitive features and strong market positioning.
- Collaborate with segment marketing teams to help develop compelling portfolios and value propositions that align AMD technologies with segment-specific needs to support design wins and revenue objectives.
- Support interactions with AMD leadership and customers to communicate and reinforce Embedded roadmaps.
- Help develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch planning.
- Contribute to the creation of engaging marketing content such as presentations, case studies, and web materials.
- Build and maintain a working understanding of AI technologies and Embedded Software, including key market trends.
- Assist with competitive analysis and benchmarking to support strong positioning of AMD’s Embedded solutions.
- Develop knowledge of SoC technologies, embedded market trends, and customer needs to inform product and business decisions.
- Support portfolio management efforts to help ensure products in market remain optimized for production, yields stay on target, and end-of-life communications and last-time buys are effectively planned.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in technical product management or product marketing within the semiconductor or related technology markets.
- Exposure to writing or contributing to MRDs, PRDs, and supporting products through phase gate processes.
- Working knowledge of CPU/GPU/NPU (AI) and SoC architectures, software, and related technologies.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-changing business environment.
- Experience collaborating across multi-site, multi-cultural teams; willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
