The Private Equity AI Solutions Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists who pride ourselves on being customer obsessed and innovation-driven.
As a PE AI Solutions Architect, you will be the primary GenAI specialist enabling PE firms and their portfolio companies to leverage Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning to solve business challenges and accelerate strategic initiatives. You will work with AWS's comprehensive AI portfolio including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Sage Maker, Amazon Quick Suite, and other AWS AI services.

• Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to understand business requirements and design AI/ML solutions using AWS AI Services, Platforms, and Frameworks
• Lead complex, multi-phase projects with autonomy and discretion, working with multiple customer and AWS teams to deliver business outcomes
• Guide customers in architecting enterprise-grade GenAI solutions including AI agents, RAG applications, and AI-powered workflows
• Design and architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions from data aggregation through model deployment and production maintenance
• Provide expertise on modern GenAI architectures including foundation models, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems
• Develop and deliver technical workshops and presentations on AWS AI capabilities to PE firms and portfolio companies
• Collaborate with AWS specialist teams and system integrators to deliver comprehensive solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in computer architecture, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• 5+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree
• Travel up to 50% of the time
• Experience leading workshops or technical enablement programs
• Experience working in (or with) Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, or Investment Banking specifically defining technology strategy or IT implementations/integrations related to Mergers and Acquisitions

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields, or PhD
• AWS Certifications
• Machine Learning Specialty, Solutions Architect Professional
• Experience with AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock (including Agent Core), Amazon Sage Maker, Kiro, and Amazon Quick Suite, AWS Transform, Strands Agents

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
