This role sits in the EU Expansion Finance team and will support several Marketplaces (i.e Netherlands, Belgium) working closely with the respective Stores finance leader on business performance and P&L management. In addition you will cover a variety of finance related topics, and will be expected to lead deep dives to support investment decisions and influence business performance and financial strategy. The role is guaranteed to have visibility to senior Store leadership. On top, you will develop expertise in several areas of the P&L with direct impact across all 5 Emerging Stores.

In this role you will have broad exposure across the full spectrum of the Country P&L and all channels and functions - including retail, 3P, operations and logistics.

• Key job responsibilities
• Business partnering with senior managers across the organisation
• Analysing business performance deep diving P&L variances (year on year; and vs plan).
• Business case modelling and analysis. Providing recommendations to support investment decisions.
• Building SQL queries to pull data for analysis
• Leading data deep dives and generating insights to influence decision making
• Using AI and other tools to automate recurring processes

EU Expansion Finance is a team of ambitious country CFOs acting as business partners on a full range of finance topics and Functional Experts on key strategic pillars operating across the EU Emerging countries.

Supporting new country business brings a whole range of exciting challenges covering a wide variety of topics driving customer experience, fast growth and improving profitability. It's a fast moving area with many opportunities to be creative and experiment with new approaches to drive real business impact.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
• Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in using AI tools to automate processes
