We are looking for top notch SDEs to be part of our world class software development team.
DSP (Delivery Service Partners) are medium and large sized 3rd party businesses delivering packages from amazon last mile delivery stations to the customer on behalf of Amazon. The team’s global mission is to become Amazon’s logistics labor capacity of choice by building the provider network required to support Amazon’s growth and meet customer expectations for any deliveries, at any time of the year through scalable, innovative, and low cost operations, and in a way that both delights customers and empowers DSPs and their Delivery Associates.
The DSP Engagement tech owns and develops technical infrastructure for a multi-tenant omni channel platform to create and send communications across Amazon Delivery partners, delivering 100M individual notifications per year. We own the how, the when and the what of all communications sent to Amazon delivery partners.
SDE2s in this team will be independent problem solvers creating business impact through their tech deliverables. They will learn, grow and create a lasting impact to business and their careers while having fun at work.
- Key job responsibilities
- You can effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to tech and non-tech audiences.
- You have experience with architecting systems involving data processing components, workflow orchestration and dependency management.
- You have expertise in the creation and management of backend and frontend applications and data stores, as well as proven ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- You use object-oriented design concepts to program large multi-tier systems.
A day in the life
You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of logistics capacity, onboarding and customer experience areas covering visual interface to the back end services. You will be working with technologies to improve usability and increase resiliency and scalability.
You will translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solution that provide good customer experience.
Candidates need to have strong ownership, passion to provide great customer experience and excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience building resilient web/mobile loved applications and/or web services-based applications is desired.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
