We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Sr. Product Manager to define product requirements, set strategy, and tirelessly champion for the needs of our customers.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the end to end development of creating and refining new pricing, inventory management, and capacity allocation tools for anyone who wants to utilize Amazon Air’s network of 80+ airplanes and 40+ airport facilities in the US and beyond. To do this you will work across research science, finance, technology, operations, sales, and engineering teams to impact customer promise, fulfillment optimization, and air routing and capacity systems.
This position requires a person with the ability to skillfully communicate with internal stakeholders, use analytics to solve complex problems, and stay hyper focused on the customers’ need
- Key job responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to launch new products, and use data/customer feedback to inform the evolution of products and services, measure the impact of launches, and identify growth opportunities
- Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
- Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
- Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
- Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)

Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into data, design optimization models, and develop transformative solutions that reshape how packages move across our national air network at scale, ensuring our planes are full of fast, high-value shipments.

We're passionate about pushing the boundaries of logistics technology and continuously improving our network's performance to maximize the value our aircraft and airport facilities deliver.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 3+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- Experience in transportation and supply chain
- Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar
- Experience owning technology products

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
