Selling Partners drive Amazon's business: third-party sellers now account for over 60% of all units sold on Amazon. Their growth is our growth. The Selling Partner Growth (SPG) organization accelerates this growth through four strategic pillars: New Selection Success, Optimizing for Long Term Growth, Brand Building, and Seller Profitability.
Within SPG, our team owns the New Selection Success pillar with a clear mission: Make Amazon the best place globally for sellers to innovate, test, and scale successful new products.
As Amazon is transforming its Selling Partner experience into next-generation —personalized, agentic, and adaptive, in New Selection Success, we also need to reimagine the entire new product journey for sellers: from helping them identify their next dollar opportunity, to enabling simulations and customer validation with real and AI shoppers, to accelerating launch and continuous optimization and scaling globally. Enter the New Product Accelerator (NPA): a suite of experiences and agents that revolutionizes how entrepreneurs take a product idea from inception to optimized sales with Amazon, where AI does the heavy lifting to help sellers make faster, higher quality decisions.
In this role, you will be the Principal PMT for leading NPA. As the Single-Threaded Leader for agentic experience and architecture, you'll establish the vision, principles, and technical standards that enable a unified, intelligent platform for new selection experiences. Your impact will be organizational and industry-defining. You'll orchestrate multiple agentic experiences (across web portal and conversational assistant) into a cohesive experience that adapts to diverse seller cohorts, geographies, and business models—while coordinating seamlessly with existing seller tools focused on new product workflows.
Key job responsibilities
- Next-Gen Experience & Architecture: Define north star vision and end-to-end seller journey; establish unified architecture coordinating NPA with existing seller tools
- Experience Quality & Seller Trust: Establish frameworks measuring AI guidance clarity and actionability; map seller journeys to identify friction points; build confidence in AI recommendations
- UX Research & Benchmarking: Establish research frameworks for testing with diverse seller cohorts; benchmark against best-in-class platforms; define quality standards
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align agent roadmaps with experience vision across product, science and engineering teams; communicate trade-offs to senior leadership
- Technical Quality & Evaluation: Establish evaluation frameworks for AI outputs; define quality metrics, testing approaches, and quality gates
- Performance & Reliability: Set latency targets, availability SLAs, and throughput requirements; define performance benchmarks; architect solutions meeting global reliability standards
- Agent Consistency & Safety: Ensure consistency in tone, workflows, and voice; establish governance for agent behavior; define safety guardrails and content policies
- Measurement & Evolution: Design metrics frameworks connecting experiences to business outcomes; define success metrics for technical performance and seller outcomes; drive ongoing analysis; ensure experiences adapt to changing needs
