Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience in embedded development in C/C++
  • Experience developing and maintaining Display Processing Unit (DPU) drivers in a Linux environment, including hands-on work with the DRM/KMS framework for display pipeline management and kernel-level driver integration.
  • Proficiency with the Yocto build system for cross-compiling and packaging Linux kernel modules and display drivers for embedded SoC platforms.
  • Familiarity with Wayland-based windowing systems (Weston/Wayland) and their interaction with the DRM/KMS display stack in embedded Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • DPU Driver Development Experience developing or maintaining Display Processing Unit (DPU) drivers in a Linux environment, with working knowledge of kernel-level driver architecture and SoC display subsystem integration, including pre-silicon bring-up using emulation platforms (e.g., FPGA, Palladium) or simulation environments.
  • DRM/KMS Framework Hands-on experience with the DRM/KMS framework for display pipeline management, including mode setting, plane configuration, and atomic commit workflows in embedded Linux systems. Experience validating DRM/KMS behavior in pre-silicon environments (emulators or virtual platforms) is a plus.
