Amazon's Quick Commerce is revolutionizing customer experience with sub-30-minute delivery, and we're scaling rapidly from 50 to 350 micro-fulfillment sites in 2026 alone. As Senior Manager, Construction Management for Quick Commerce Expansion Planning, you'll pioneer the construction strategy for a first-of-its-kind retail concept, leading end-to-end delivery from site validation through construction handover nationwide. This role demands a builder's mentality: you'll invent new construction methodologies to achieve condensed timelines and frugal cost targets while navigating hundreds of distinct permitting jurisdictions with a facility type that doesn't fit traditional categories.

You'll lead a high-performing team managing the complete construction lifecycle - from design optimization and permitting strategy through contractor management and quality oversight - enabling 16 site selections per week while maintaining rigorous financial guardrails. This is a rare opportunity to build something from scratch at Amazon scale, working cross-functionally with Real Estate, Operations, Economic Development, Legal, and external partners including developers, general contractors, and local officials. You'll drive innovation in construction execution, establish scalable processes for unprecedented growth, and directly shape how millions of customers experience Amazon's fastest delivery promise. Success in this role requires thriving in ambiguity, exceling at influencing without authority, and comfortability challenging the status quo.
