Amazon.com operates in a global e Commerce environment without boundaries, and operates a diverse set of businesses in nine countries, including Retail, third party marketplaces, e Commerce platforms, web services for developers.
The RBS group in Beijing is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team is designed to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product information. The team's primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.
Key job responsibilities
RBS team is looking for a Program Manager, who will establish the management framework of Deal/Merchandising, establish new tasks to drive business growth and reduce cost.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Program plan and delivery management independently in a dynamic environment
  • Influence stakeholders and drive alignment on program priorities, goals and roadmap
  • Identify new opportunities to initiate sub-programs
  • Influence upstream teams' priorities and roadmap
  • Make trade-off decisions and understand when and how to escalate appropriately
  • Develop solutions and lead implementation
  • Advocator and practitioner of using technology to solve business problem.
  • Mentor junior team/project members
  • Basic qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • knowledge about search engine or experience in product search optimization

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook Ups) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
