We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to be part of Transportation Excellence team, leading initiatives for E2E logistics operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring optimal delivery quality performance through data-driven mechanisms, strategic trade-off analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder management. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence by establishing robust measurement frameworks, conducting deep-dive analyses, and implementing scalable solutions that balance customer experience with operational efficiency.
This role requires a strategic/tactical thinker who can balance analytical rigor with practical execution. You will be expected to dive deep into complex operational challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive implementation through effective stakeholder engagement. The position demands strong ownership mentality, bias for action, and ability to deliver results in ambiguous situations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate Amazon's Leadership Principles, particularly Customer Obsession, Dive Deep, Deliver Results, and Earn Trust. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, conducting root cause analyses, and presenting findings to diverse audiences ranging from operational teams to senior executives.
- Key job responsibilities
- Own and drive delivery quality performance metrics in operations, establishing mechanisms to monitor, analyze, and improve on-time delivery quality across the network
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on delivery performance trends, utilizing data analytics to uncover insights and drive actionable recommendations for operational improvements
- Design and implement measurement frameworks and mechanisms that enable proactive identification of delivery quality risks and opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Transportation, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to align on delivery excellence strategies and execution plans
- Drive stakeholder management across multiple levels of the organization, effectively communicating complex analytical findings and influencing decision-making through compelling narratives
- Lead operational planning processes related to delivery quality, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and tactical execution
- Establish and maintain governance mechanisms for delivery performance, including regular business reviews, escalation protocols, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Develop and scale best practices for delivery excellence across the network, working with regional and global teams to drive standardization and knowledge sharing
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience driving process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
