Job Posting Title: Senior Security Manager Req ID: 10141747 Job Description: The **Senior Security ****Manager** reports to Director-Security, Shared Services and owns the strategy, governance, and oversight of internal investigations, threat assessment, workplace violence prevention, background screening and access control. Serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executive leadership, the role ensures sensitive matters are handled with integrity, consistency, and legal defensibility while strengthening employee safety, organizational trust, and duty of care. The role partners closely with HR/ER, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Security, Risk, and Executive Leadership to manage sensitive matters, respond to critical incidents, and continuously strengthen the organization’s threat management and violence prevention framework. **Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for investigations, threat assessments and workplace violence for security-related incidents. - Provide strategic oversight of background screening and access control, ensuring operational support, role-based access and timely modification. - Continually raise the bar in access control and background screening technology and processes to keep pace with both the risk environment and the operation. - Integrate investigation, screening, access, and threat assessment to proactively identify insider risk and facilitate rapid response. - Lead and govern complex and sensitive internal investigations involving misconduct, ethics violations, fraud, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy breaches; personally, and confidentially oversee the most complex, high-risk, or executive-level matters. - Work closely with executive leadership and various departments to implement threat mitigation. - Develop and maintain close partnerships with law enforcement, private security and public sector entities, ensuring regulatory compliance. - Manage budgets and labor resources by prioritizing based on business need and risk exposure and align team initiatives with broader business goals. - Integrate access control considerations into investigations, threat assessments, and workplace violence response plans. - Direct response to credible threats and critical incidents, including coordination with law enforcement and emergency response partners - Lead, mentor and develop the team, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and build depth of capability and succession readiness. - Ensure post-incident reviews and continuous improvement of prevention and response protocols. - Plan and conduct security assessments, audits, and intelligence activities to drive security posture improvements and inform operational, workforce, and capital decisions in a dynamic threat environment. - Provide guidance & leadership for leveraging entire spectrum of security technologies, including the establishment of requirements, solution design, operational testing and fielding, integration, sustainment, and continuous improvement **Required Qualifications**: - 10+ years of experience in security or related field - Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to act independently in complex security environments - Ability to drive results across property in alignment with site goals. - US Secret Security clearance eligible - Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving/critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. - Strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence with the ability to influence across functions. - Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment. - High level of integrity and discretion when handling and maintaining sensitive and confidential information. - Ability to identify risk and threat concerns, design and implement mitigation strategies. **Desired Qualifications**: - Experience with intelligence collection and assessment - Familiarity with Executive Protection - Prior experience interacting with law enforcement agencies and navigating legal processes Job Posting Segment: Other Support Job Posting Primary Business: Security (WDW) Primary Job Posting Category: Ops General Employment Type: Full time Primary City, State, Region, Postal Code: Lake Buena Vista, FL, USA Alternate City, State, Region, Postal Code: Date Posted: 2026-02-09
