Amazon is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of a new cross-border business platform. This role will be responsible for building an innovative platform that enables seamless international commerce, working at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and regulatory compliance. You will completely own & drive the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution (with technology teams),product adoption for this greenfield initiative that will redefine how businesses engage in cross-border trade on Amazon.

You should enjoy working in a start-up environment & will need to develop a deep understanding of cross-border trade, regulations, logistics, payments and seller/customer needs. You will have to align and coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Payments.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Product Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy for a new cross-border business platform from concept to launch. Drive both long-term vision and short-term execution plans to achieve business results.
  • Roadmap Planning and Execution: Provide value-based prioritization of product development initiatives to ensure maximum ROI, Manage cross-functional processes for prioritizing, delivering, and launching major product releases
    · Requirements Definition: Develop comprehensive product plans, Produce high quality requirements documents and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget. Writes user stories to communicate customer needs in an Agile development environment.
    · Product Roll-out: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimisation opportunities. Partner with business and marketing teams to drive product adoption
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Alignment: Collaborate with technology & functional teams(biz, legal) teams to deliver scalable, world-class platform solutions. Influence without authority and earn trust across a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about managing challenging, complex and ambiguous projects across multiple teams and locations. We are looking for a tenured Product leader who shares Amazon's passion for the customer—someone who understands the importance of compelling features and functionalities in driving great experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivering customer value and business impact

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in B2B, high-tech products/services preferred
  • Experience in successful technology product work from ideation through launch
  • Good understanding of cross border trade, regulations and compliance requirements
