We are seeking a Finance Principal to support analysis and business insights for the International Stores FP&A team. This position will focus on financial trends and support planning and forecasting for a highly complex and diverse group of countries. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the strategic direction of one of Amazon’s biggest businesses, with a focus on improving financial results.
This role requires a self-starter who is curious to learn, great at solving problems by getting to the root of the issue, has a good track record of working cross-functionally and influencing change, and a passion for improving the way things are done. This role will leverage P&L knowledge and integrate with business drivers such as speed and selection. This role has regular interaction with International and Worldwide Stores finance leaders and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including country FP&A teams and senior Stores Finance leaders. Candidates should have experience understanding details and summarizing data and messages for senior leadership. A polished professional presence and the ability to influence is critical.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
  • Experience building and leading in a complex finance team through a mixed finance skill set (commercial finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, operations)

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
