ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Based in Tokyo, Audible is seeking an Director, Brand and Content Marketing, on a 12 month contract, who will drive report into the Japan Country Manager for Audible. This role will drive awareness and consideration of the Audible brand through the development and delivery of impactful content marketing and communication campaigns to deliver business objectives.

You must be a self-motivated, energetic and inquisitive individual with a passion for storytelling. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, driving multiple campaigns at once with an emphasis on collective and collaborative teamwork.
- As a Director, Brand & Content Marketing, you will...
- Lead the marketing strategy and implementation of a constant stream of premium content for release in Japan, supporting Original and 3P releases
- Maximize talent promotion through creation of high impact promotional assets and dissemination over partner channels with a goal to grow awareness and engagement via paid, owned and earned media
- Work closely with the awareness media team to maximize creative impact
- Project manage campaigns and events with impeccable organizational skills
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage projects, implement campaigns, events and promotions with effective project management, weekly status and conference reports following meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page
- Work with local and international partners to deliver audience, service and content-related research
- Support on brand-tracking, UX/CX research and other streams defined in conjunction with the International Research team
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of activity to determine campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in content marketing
- Experience in brand marketing
- Experience working on entertainment brands and/or digital brands to promote IPs in multiple channels in Japan
- Experience delivering creative campaigns, identity executions and activations
- Experience presenting to, influencing and motivating action by senior leaders
- Experience managing and leading teams toward common goals
- Experience operating at both a strategic and executional level; ideate and directly execute
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale campaigns, but also community and social-first thinking
- Excellent team player with the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Positive outlook, curious, desire to learn and grow and team player
- Brings a strong passion for Audible's brand and products as a leader in the audio spoken word landscape
- Direct experience working with high profile celebrity talent
- Excellent communicator and compelling storyteller
- Highly collaborative, a great listener, and able to work across geographies with peers and executive teams in matrixed environments to drive action and results
