This is an experimental role to support a business pilot and can potentially span up to 12 months

As an SDM for Domain Expert Leads (Coding), you'll lead a new team of software engineers to define what “good data” looks like for the training of LLM models. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to team members, who will be auditing, as well as providing key insights and feedback on Coding data. Your responsibilities will ensure data excellence through strategic oversight of high-quality data output, while supporting iterative development and improvement of the audit tooling. This position directly impacts the effectiveness and reliability of our AI solutions by maintaining the highest standards of data quality while building capability within the broader team.

• Lead and mentor 10+ coding Domain Expert Leads, build and grow a high-performing team of engineers.
• Create effective metrics to measure team performance
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define quality audit tooling vision, roadmap, and create impactful solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry standards, foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.
• Manage multiple concurrent programs and projects in an intrapreneurial environment.
• Champion domain knowledge sharing across multiple channels and teams to maintain data quality excellence and standardization

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
• 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience developing large-scale, multi-tirered distributed software systems using Service-oriented architecture and Distributed programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
