Join Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) Early Lifecycle Management (ELM) and become part of the team that brings Amazon to Brazil! The Amazon fulfillment network consists of many different site types to meet the customer expectations. Small delivery stations bring packages to customers homes daily while large complex fulfillment centers utilize various technologies to store, package, and ship customer orders. The RME ELM team is responsible to ensure all site types and local RME teams are setup to successfully maintain buildings during operations.
We are looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven ability to own and execute multiple simultaneous projects.
Key job responsibilities
This role requires working across multiple Amazon business organizations, in addition to vendors and third party contractors. The Launch Manager will be responsible for influencing and driving critical path tasks with partners to maintain launch timelines. You will be on-site representing RME Launch, coordinating training, and onsite launch execution during the launch, reporting back to internal and Customer stakeholders through established reporting structures. This position involves regular communication with customer and RME leadership teams on status, risks, and change control.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, a natural problem solver, and a great communicator, both in verbal and written form. You have a consistent track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines in an ambiguous environment. This role requires a high level of ownership over the launch process.
Since this is a launch role, you must be willing to travel >70% of the time to locations around Brazil as well as occasional travel to North and Central America for benchmarking and training. You must have a strong mastery of English in both written and verbal form because you will work closely with the North America Launch team.
