Job Description:

A.Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for verification & validation for Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard for Avionics Airbus Helicopters.

B.Main activities

The jobholder will be responsible for (Verification of software modules):

• Verification & Validation of high-level requirements
• Unit level verification of software modules
• Integration testing (software – software & software – Hardware)
• Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage
• Leading and mentoring team members for testing
• Driving certification audits under verification perimeter.

C.Skills

Exposure to full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialised domains. Strong experience in verification activities.

‘Must have’ skills:

• Hands on experience on Requirements based testing.
• Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
• Software configuration management
• Software Requirements, Design reviews
• Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / C-coding)
• Work experience on DO 178 standard
• Project Management skills
• Basic understanding about RTOS
• Strong inter personnel skills
• Quick learner

‘Good to have’ skills:

• Embedded Programming
• Embedded software requirements engineering and Architecture (Static and Dynamic)
• Design and development (module level design, interfaces, algorithm)
• Utilization of SCADE , RTRT or other test environments
• Knowledge about avionics systems and network
• Model based testing
