Job Description:
Would you like to work within Supply Chain Management in the aerospace aftersales business? Do you like stakeholder management, fact-based decision making, and working with data and numbers?
We are currently looking for a **Stocking Policy Manager (d/f/m)**to join our Planning team in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel.
We are a truly international Planning team with a global reach. We thrive on fact-based decision-making, high-level stakeholder management, and a passion for navigating complex data and numbers to drive the aerospace aftersales business.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
As Satair supports the commercial aerospace industry with spare parts, an effective stocking policy is a critical enabler for balancing material availability and business growth. In this role, you will:
-
Perform complex analyses and simulations to derive business insights and continuous improvements for the global stocking policy.
-
Develop and refine advanced forecasting and simulation methods by merging statistical, commercial, and technical data. Own and manage the annual stocking policy governance process, including preparation, facilitation, and subsequent implementation.

Lead cross-functional collaborations and negotiations (e.g. with Product Management & Finance) to align on proposals for the Satair leadership team.

Monitor KPIs and performance of potential adjustments in the policy.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Solutions to ensure a unified strategic approach.
ABOUT YOU
Equipped with a degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science (or similar) paired with extensive professional experience in inventory management, forecasting, or supply chain planning, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

You have strong expertise in SAP IBP, Palantir (Skywise) or similar
-
You possess solid coding skills in Python and/or SQL to work effectively with algorithms and large datasets.

You demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, are able to work independently, and deliver high-quality data analyses that drive informed decision-making.

You effectively secure validation and buy-in from key stakeholders with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
-
You are a proficient communicator and confident in presenting insights to senior executive management.
-
You bring a positive and collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, global team environment.

English language skills at negotiation level.
