-
People Management: Act as a dedicated mentor and coach to grow engineering talent. This role involves growing the team (hiring and headcount planning) and focusing on the development of the current team.
-
Technical Guidance: Provide architectural direction for AI and software engineering projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure. We expect a player-coach mindset, where you balance people management, strategy, architecture and hands-on work.
-
Team Environment: Cultivate a culture of ownership, autonomy, and open communication where constructive feedback is the norm.
Who you are
-
Experienced Leader: You have 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and 5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering and AI development.
-
Entrepreneurial Self-Starter: You are a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of driving initiatives from ideation to completion with minimal oversight.
-
Technical Background: You possess a strong foundation in core Software Engineering (e.g. Java or Python) and have experience with deploying (Gen)AI/Machine Learning in production.
-
Stakeholder-Savvy: You can clearly explain complex technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align diverse needs into a unified roadmap.
-
Quality & Growth Mindset: You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and possess an innate curiosity to explore how (Gen)AI can redefine payment industry standards.
-
Product Mindset: You think in terms of user needs, scalability, and long-term vision for payment and billing solutions.
