Summary:

Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5/OpenUI5, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SAPUI5 / OpenUI5 custom applications following SAP Fiori UX guidelines•
• Extend and customize standard SAP Fiori applications (adaptation projects, freestyle apps)•
• Integrate UI5 apps with OData services from SAP Gateway / CDS views•
• Build and consume REST APIs and JSON models in UI5 apps•
• Implement responsive layouts and adaptive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile•
• Optimize UI5 application performance, load time, and accessibility•
• Use SAP Web IDE / BAS for development and deployment•
• Work with SAP CAP / RAP for backend integration scenarios•
• Manage application versioning and deployments via Git and transport management•
• Collaborate with functional consultants and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Exp in SAPUI5 / OpenUI5 framework (MVC, XML Views, Fragments, Controllers)• - Exp in OData V2 & V4 service integration• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX•
• Exp in SAP Fiori Design Guidelines & Launchpad configuration•
• Exp in SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)•
• Exp in Debugging & performance optimization tools in UI5• Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, Annotations
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (On-Prem & Cloud)• CDS view consumption and annotations for UI5• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma) deployment• SAP Workflow Management and Business Rules integration• Unit testing with QUnit and OPA5• Git-based CI/CD pipelines for UI5 projects• Prompt engineering

Additional Information:
