Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Manual Network Penetration Tester who can independently perform in-depth security assessments of applications, networks, and infrastructure. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual vulnerability discovery, exploitation, and reporting, with the ability to think like an attacker and provide actionable remediation guidance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Perform manual penetration testing on: Web applications,APIs,Mobile applications (Android/iOS – optional)

• Network and infrastructure environments
  -Identify, validate, and exploit security vulnerabilities beyond automated tools
  -Conduct black-box, grey-box, and white-box testing
  -Perform authenticated and unauthenticated testing
• Identify OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and business logic flaws
• Validate false positives from automated scanners
  -Perform manual exploitation for:Authentication & authorization flaws Injection attacks (SQLi, Command Injection, XXE), IDOR, access control issues,File upload, RCE, SSRF
  -Session management & cryptographic weaknesses
• Conduct network attacks such as:Lateral movement,Privilege escalation,Password attacks, Misconfiguration exploitation
  -Prepare detailed penetration testing reports with: Risk rating.

Impact analysis,Proof of Concept (PoC)
-Clear remediation recommendations
-Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Support retesting / remediation validation
  -Participate in client calls, scoping, and technical discussions
  -Provide security guidance during design and development phases
  -Mentor junior testers (if applicable)

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Burp Suite, Postman

• Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS
  -Metasploit, Hydra, Crack Map Exec
  -SQLmap (manual validation required)
  -Wireshark, Nikto
  -Kali Linux
• Strong understanding of:HTTP/HTTPS,REST APIs,Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO), OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10
  -Network & Infrastructure
  -TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMB
• Active Directory security
• Linux & Windows internals
  -Firewall, WAF, and network segmentation concepts
• Certifications (Preferred / Good to Have)COSCP / OSWE / CRTP / CRTO, CEH (Practical preferred),GWAPT / GPEN,Secure code review experience
• Cloud penetration testing (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Threat modeling knowledge
  -Purple team / red team exposure

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Security Penetration Testing.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
