Project Role Description: Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Summary:

As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure that the database systems are functioning efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for database systems.
• Familiarity with security protocols and data protection measures.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
