Project Role: Technology Architect

Project Role Description: Design and deliver technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement. Define solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs.

Must have skills: Network Infrastructures

Good to have skills: VMWare v Cloud Architecture and Design, Cloud Infrastructure, Linux, Cloud Hosting solutions and architectures in multi cloud environment. (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP), securing the infrastructure, Backup, and storage technologies

Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education

Summary:

Deliver Hosting Integration. This includes using standardized approaches and Cloud solutions to provide business a seamless migration from legacy to new Hosting platforms. Expected to define secure cloud technology infrastructure solutions. The selected individual will be required to work with both local IT and global Accenture teams, and vendor contacts, to architect and document solutions in a short timeframe. This role will require working virtually across time zones, and coordination of multiple requests simultaneously.

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Cloud Hosting solutions and architecture
• Cloud & Virtualization (i.e. AWS/Azure/GCP/VMWARE/Nutanix)
• Cloud Hosting migration , Working within virtual teams, Stakeholder management
• Good English Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• Familiarity with facilitating or participating in conference calls is required
• Experience in designing scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Cloud Hosting solutions and architectures in multi cloud environment. (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Expected to have experience of deploying compute and storage technologies within Enterprise environments in data centers and public cloud. Proficient in one or two Public cloud platform with hands on experience AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with Virtualization technologies, proficient in one virtualization with hands on experience (i.e. Vmware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux
• Good knowledge of Backup and storage technologies
• Good knowledge of securing the infrastructure, Backup, and storage technologies.
• Good knowledge of cloud security services and cloud networks.
• Native application migration and deployment
• Good to have
• Modern application architecture skills i.e Containers, serverless and orchestration.
• Good to have
• Devops, Infrastructure Automation (i.e. Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Good to have
• Good understanding in cloud networking concepts.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Design and Build.
• This position is based at our Mumbai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• AWS and / or Azure Solution Architect preferred.

GCP Cloud Engineer certifications desirable:

• Vmware, Redhat certification are added value
