Project Role Description: Responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code. Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide. Leverage new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud first and agile mindset.

Summary:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and engineering the end-to-end features of a system. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experience and optimize backend processes. You will leverage new technologies to address complex business challenges while maintaining a cloud-first and agile approach. Engaging with stakeholders, you will ensure that the solutions you deliver align with client needs and contribute to the overall improvement of services provided.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.
• Experienced devs ideally should have Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, Cloud (e.g. AWS/Azure), event-driven architectures (asynchronous, Kafka, low latency), reactive programming (Akka), document databases (Mongo), DevOps and Tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), Junit and JSON/XML/XSD since involved message structures can get quite complex.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling Building for high availability/resilient distributed systems.
• Experience of event sourced/driven solutions.
• Experience in automation using Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes.
• Hands-on development of software applications (Using Java, Maven and Spring boot, NoSQL DB)

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Volante Volpay.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Payments Fundamentals, Spring Boot, Microservices and Light Weight Architecture.
• Core programming : Advanced java, spring boot, microservices , performance tuning.
• ICON/IPF expertise : End-to-end orchestration, complex module extensions, integration with external systems
• Payments Domain(good to have) : Clearing & settlement systems, PSD2 compliance, FPS/CHAPS/SEPA
• Database & Messaging : Distributed systems, MongoDB, advanced messaging patterns
• Integration & APIs : API orchestration
• DevOps & Tools : Full CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing
• Cloud & Deployment : Cloud-native deployment, autoscaling, resilience engineering
• Testing & QA : Functional, performance, and security testing, BDD understanding (Gherkin)
• Akka (Reactive) : Clustered actor systems, sharding, persistence, resilience tuning
• Kafka (Event Streaming) : Schema governance, Kafka Streams pipelines, multi-region failover
• Senior Developer should Architects detailed solutions, optimises performance, ensures compliance and resilience
• Preferred Certifications & Tools : Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Kafka & Akka experience/trained, ISO 20022/FPS compliance awareness

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Volante Volpay.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
