The Work:

A Service Now Solution Architect designs and articulates robust, scalable solutions on the Service Now platform, serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and guiding clients through their digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Within the Service Now group, the Service Now Solution Architect is an experienced architect and innovator of solutions utilizing the Service Now platform and can describe the solutions with ease.
  • An experienced advisor to the C-Suite, crafting the best solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on critical Service Now programs at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Excels at developing prototypes and providing demonstrations of Service Now solutions to client.
  • Analyze client environments, complete assessments, and create roadmaps to help clients understand the path to transform their Service Now environment and improve business value.
  • Able to identify opportunities to provide additional value to our clients and to work internally with the Service Now account teams to progress
  • Drive continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.
  • Create solution architecture diagrams and documentation
  • Design and build technical frameworks and re-usable building blocks (accelerators)
  • Complete hands-on development of complex solutions for our clients.
  • Guide and provide mentorship to Service Now Developers.
  • Influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems
  • Strong experience in leading solution design, creating estimates, developing implementation plans and building proposal response information for new opportunities
  • A strong desire and commitment to grow Service Now skills and knowledge through formal training, mentorship and hands-on experience
  • Dedicated to staying current with major platform releases by ensuring all delta exams are completed in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or a master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years knowledge and experience working with Service Now in Development & Solution Architecture capacity.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience directly driving IT transformation & strategy planning, preferably in a high-tech consulting environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced scripting skills – JavaScript, SQL
  • Experienced with Agile methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban & Wagile.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these. English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Nice to Have:

  • Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) designation
  • At least three Service Now mainline certifications
  • Reliability clearance eligibility
  • Bilingual (English & French)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

British Columbia/Ontario $99,450 to $209,900
