Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs while utilizing standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and performance across systems. You will engage in problem-solving activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of application functionalities, ensuring that the systems operate efficiently and effectively to meet organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Develop and maintain applications using Python and Java Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Java.
• Strong understanding of application integration techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with low-code platforms and APIs for application development.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.

Additional Information:

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Basic scripting in Shell or Bash.
• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
