The new global team will synergize with the existing AI team to solve Accenture’s clients’ toughest challenges across geographies and across industries. The new team members will bring a diverse range of strategy & consulting skills and industry expertise, focusing on multiple aspects of enterprise transformation, such as accelerating commercial growth, optimizing supply chain processing and reinventing customer experience.
The Cost Optimization Consultant plays a key role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing cost reduction strategies across business operations, supply chains, and technology portfolios. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights, process improvement methodologies, and financial analysis to deliver measurable savings while maintaining or improving service levels and quality. You will also act as a strategic advisor, translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business value, defining transformative roadmaps, and managing the delivery of AI-powered solutions across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Assessment:

Conduct comprehensive spend analysis across departments (e.g., operations, procurement, IT, manufacturing, logistics, etc.).

Identify cost-saving opportunities through process re-engineering, vendor rationalization, and contract optimization.

Benchmark costs and performance metrics against industry best practices.

Develop and prioritize cost optimization initiatives with clear ROI projections.

Advise clients on AI strategy, identifying high-impact use cases and building actionable adoption roadmaps.

Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure AI solutions meet strategic goals.
Implementation & Execution:

Lead or support implementation of approved cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Negotiate with suppliers, partners, or service providers to achieve target savings.

Drive efficiency improvements through automation, lean methodologies, or outsourcing strategies.

Establish monitoring mechanisms to track and sustain achieved savings.

Financial & Data Analysis:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT cost optimization, IT financial management, or technology consulting.

Proven success in achieving measurable cost savings in IT operations (e.g., 10–25% OPEX reduction).

Experience in IT service delivery, cloud economics, or managed services environments.

Exposure to large-scale transformation programs involving automation, outsourcing, or cloud migration.
Preferred Skills:

Deep understanding of IT cost structures (labor, infrastructure, licenses, cloud, support).

Expertise in Fin Ops, TCO modeling, and IT cost transparency frameworks.

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

Familiarity with automation tools (Ui Path, Service Now, AIOps platforms) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
