The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake Mary, Florida location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges.

The AR SME serves as a senior technical expert supporting complex claims resolution, process optimization, and staff training.

What You’ll Work On

• Advanced AR Management & Analysis: Review AR aging, prioritize at-risk accounts, and resolve complex denials, discrepancies, and underpayments.
• Contract Review: Validate payer reimbursement accuracy against contract terms.
• Root Cause Analysis: Identify denial trends and develop corrective action plans.
• Process Optimization: Document and improve workflows.
• Escalated Claims: Handle high-dollar or complex insurance follow-ups.
• Training & QA: Train staff and conduct audits.
• Communication & Liaison: Interface with payers and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years revenue cycle or AR experience
• Advanced knowledge of payer guidelines and medical billing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience mentoring or training staff
