The Opportunity:
This position works out of our
Columbus, Oh location in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, Pedia Sure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna® – to help them get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest lives.
The Senior Brand Manager, Adult Nutrition - Media is a strategic leader responsible for shaping the media vision, strategy, and execution for a portfolio of adult nutrition brands. This role oversees a high-performing media team and serves as a key partner to brand marketing, performance marketing, insights, and agency partners to drive brand growth, consumer engagement, and business performance, including share growth, net sales and profit margin. The Senior Brand Manager will champion audience-first thinking, orchestrate full‑funnel media plans, and elevate how the brands show up across paid channels. Additional responsibilities include tactical planning, agency leadership, contingency planning, budget management, brand performance analysis, and leading actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Develop and lead holistic, insight‑driven media strategies that support brand objectives, strengthen brand equity, and drive business results across a multi-brand adult nutrition portfolio.

Translate consumer, cultural, and category insights into clear media opportunities, audience strategies, and investment recommendations.

Define and own annual media frameworks, including channel roles, investment allocations, reach/frequency goals, and measurement roadmaps.

Propel innovation in media by exploring new channels, testing approaches, and advanced audience capabilities.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of media professionals, fostering curiosity, strategic thinking, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Establish clear roles, goals, workflows, and development plans to strengthen team capability and effectiveness.
-
Partner closely with Content and Performance Marketing teams to align on briefs, brand strategies, creative development, and in‑market execution.

Coordinate with Insights & Analytics to leverage data and measurement frameworks that inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate impact.

Guide agency partners to deliver best‑in‑class media planning, buying, optimization, and reporting.

Oversee end‑to‑end media planning, implementation, optimization, and performance tracking across all paid channels (digital, TV, OLV, social, search, retail media, etc.).

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budget management, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and strategic investment decisions.

Monitor key performance indicators and deliver performance readouts with actionable insights and recommendations.

Ensure adherence to brand safety, compliance, and data privacy requirements.

Serve as a media expert and thought leader within the organization, providing clear POVs on industry trends, audience behaviors, and emerging opportunities.

Influence senior stakeholders with strong storytelling grounded in data and strategic clarity.

Lead developing operational frameworks to accelerate response to digital consumer trends.

Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
-
10+ years of experience in media strategy, digital marketing, brand marketing, or integrated communications.
-
Proven experience leading media across multiple brands or complex portfolios (CPG or nutrition experience preferred).
-
Strong understanding of full‑funnel media planning, measurement frameworks, advanced audience strategies, and digital platforms.
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into clear, actionable direction.
-
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
