This Position reports to:
Team Lead
Your Role & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage product sustainability across Scope 3, ensuring compliance with international eco-standards and material regulations. You will also shape and implement ABB’s Circular Economy Program to advance sustainable product and value-chain concepts.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month

Manage topics such as Conflict Minerals and sustainable material sourcing

Prepare sustainability and compliance reports

Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners

Plan and execute sustainability projects with minimal supervision

What it takes to Run what runs the world

Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Material Science or similar

Several years of experience in product sustainability and material compliance
-
Solid knowledge of Circular Economy, greenhouse gas accounting, and conflict minerals

Experience in reporting (e.g., sustainability reports, ESG reporting)
-
Methodical, structured approach, and ability to manage one's own workload
-
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 52.853,78 - 60.785,90 EUR (depending on training, experience) annual for a full-time position as of May 2025. But we would be happy to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
